Summary of the current situation : After a periode of complete latency and complacency, finally the CSTD has adopted a recommendation in May 2008 :
32. Recommends that UNGIS organize focused open multistakeholder consultations on the implementation of part B of the Tunis Agenda " Financial Mechanisms for Meeting the Challenges of ICTs for Development";
that could lead to an implementation mechanism. There is therefore a new hope.
